Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases.
• Handle exchanges, returns and complaints effectively.
• Assist with transactions, resolve discrepancies, and troubleshoot cash register/tender issues.
• Engage customers in a friendly manner during the transaction.
• Cashiers are outgoing and love working with people.
• Process monetary transactions (cash, check, gift card, credit/debit).
• Extend offers for Extended Protection Policy to qualifying items.
• Communicate with Manager on Duty and merchandise teams regarding stock.
• Remain knowledgeable about the store for customer questions.
• Restock items and keep assigned area presentable.
• Deliver an outstanding shopping experience for customers.
• Promote Fleet Farm loyalty program and credit card initiatives.
