Job summary

Smart & Final in Buena Park is seeking a Service Clerk to join our store team. You will help customers, stock shelves, check prices, and assist with loading groceries into vehicles. Starting rate $16.90 per hour.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 60 pounds and communicate clearly in English. This on-site role offers growth opportunities within the Chedraui USA family and a community-focused grocery operation.

Qualifications

• Read and write English, interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Regularly lift and move up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain carts and assist customers with purchases and loading to their cars.
• Check retail prices on shelves for accuracy.
• Return merchandise to shelves and keep aisles clean and organized.
• Monitor store entrances, restrooms, and general cleanliness.
• Assist with stocking and general store maintenance.
