The Merrimack in Concord, NH is seeking a Customer Service Banker (Universal Banker) for the main branch. This full-time role focuses on delivering a welcoming banking experience, building trusted relationships, and helping customers meet their financial goals.

The position requires strong interpersonal skills, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work rotating Saturdays. Starting pay is $21.63 per hour, negotiable based on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain working knowledge of banking products and services while promoting them to the customer.
• Demonstrate an openness and willingness to switch between the teller and customer service positions as the needs arise.
• Complete individual and business account deposit/withdrawal transactions, account opening and maintenance activities including checking, savings and time deposits.
• Provide a professional customer service experience while obtaining new business opportunity referrals through needs based inquiry.
• Responds to questions and resolve problems or concerns for customers effectively and efficiently.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED

Physical Requirements

This role is performed in a branch environment and requires regular standing and movement, visual and manual dexterity to operate office equipment, occasional handling of up to 40 pounds, and some bending and lifting. Independent travel to other branches or locations may be required.
