Job summary

PCC Community Markets is hiring Courtesy Clerks in Seattle, WA. You will provide courteous customer service, bag groceries, and carry out duties while keeping the store clean and organized. The role requires physical stamina, ability to work evenings and weekends, and adherence to PCC standards.

Qualifications

• Evidence of excellent customer service experience.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Must meet physical demands (standing, bending, lifting 10–40 lbs).
• Washington Food Worker Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent, professional customer service.
• Bag groceries and provide carryout per PCC guidelines.
• General cleaning: sweep, mop, bathrooms, trash, shelves.
• Maintain cleanliness and order store-wide.
• Stock bags and bulk containers.
• Return merchandise and verify pricing.
• Ensure sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Operate equipment per PCC standards.
