Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hardworking Customer Service Attendant for a full-time position in Akron, OH. The role includes consistent shift coverage Tue–Thu 11:00–19:30 and Sat–Sun 07:00–15:30, with a focus on delivering excellent service and maintaining attractive product displays.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform calculations in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Receive and organize deliveries of merchandise, including soft drinks, bakery products, snacks, specialty foods and other foodservice products at client locations.
• Merchandise products according to established standards, ensuring shelves, coolers, vending machines and/or market displays and designated product areas are fully stocked, organized and visually appealing.
• Rotate merchandise and remove expired, damaged or stale products.
• Ensure refrigerated and perishable products are properly stored and maintained.
• Maintain attractive, clean and organized product displays and merchandising areas.
• Monitor product assortment and communicate inventory needs, shortages and customer preferences.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation and merchandising standards.

Tues-Thursday, 11am-7:30pm

Saturday-Sunday, 7am-3:30pm.
