Job summary

AVI Foodsystems in Canton, OH is seeking a friendly Customer Service Attendant for a part-time role. You will receive and merchandise products, assist customers, maintain displays, and ensure clean, organized spaces while upholding food safety standards.

The schedule is Thursday through Sunday from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm. You will work with a team to deliver excellent service, promote products, and build positive client relationships. Previous retail or food service experience preferred.

• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to speak effectively to customers and employees
• Ability to perform calculations in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Responsibilities

• Receive and organize deliveries of merchandise, including soft drinks, bakery products, snacks, specialty foods and other foodservice products at client locations.
• Merchandise products according to established standards, ensuring shelves, coolers, vending machines and/or market displays and designated product areas are fully stocked, organized and visually appealing.
• Rotate merchandise and remove expired, damaged or stale products.
• Ensure refrigerated and perishable products are properly stored and maintained.
• Maintain attractive, clean and organized product displays and merchandising areas.
• Monitor product assortment and communicate inventory needs, shortages and customer preferences.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation and merchandising standards

This is a part-time position in Canton, OH. The schedule for this position is Thursday-Sunday, 6am-12pm.
