Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly Customer Service Attendant to support on-site vending at client locations in Madison, IN. You will stock items, manage machine inventory, handle payments, and ensure cleanliness and proper refrigeration of products.

The role emphasizes friendly customer service, reliable teamwork, and precise handling of transactions and inventory. Training and growth opportunities are available within a family-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Receive delivery of items at client locations.
• Fill vending machines to proper inventory levels.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products.
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money from machines.
• Communicate positively with customers by smiling and eye contact.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines.
• Maintain clean vending areas.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive delivery of items such as soft drinks, bakery products, snack items and specialty foods at client locations
• Fill vending machines to proper inventory levels with items such as soft drinks, pastries and packaged foods
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines
• Maintain clean vending areas
