Responsibilities

1. Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
2. Register sales on assigned cash register, provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
3. Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
4. Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
5. Share customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
6. Recommend items for sale, including trade-up and/or companion items.
7. Process transactions, including voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
8. Maintain store cleanliness, organize merchandise, and assist with inventory and resets.
9. Implement asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
10. Ensure compliance with laws regarding regulated products.
11. Construct and maintain displays, including promotional and seasonal setups.
12. Assist with food separation and product placement according to policies.
13. Operate store systems and equipment effectively.
14. Provide photo area services, including digital passport photos and promotional products.
15. Handle web pick-up orders and maintain store appearance.
16. Follow company policies and foster respectful coworker relationships.
17. Complete assigned tasks and participate in training and development.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of retail experience and prior Walgreens experience.

• Compensation: $15 - $17.50/hour.
