Customer Experience

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy, etc.) and Walgreens service traits (e.g., offering help proactively, identifying needs, servicing until satisfied, etc.).

Operations

• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service to customers.
• Recommends items for sale and suggests trade-up or companion products.
• Processes sales at the cash register, including handling cash, refunds, exchanges, and voids.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of counters and shelves, manages inventory, and ensures proper pricing and merchandising.
• Implements asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
• Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products like alcohol and tobacco.
• Constructs and maintains displays and completes resets as directed.
• Assists with food product placement and stock rotation following safety and store policies.
• Operates store systems and equipment proficiently.
• Provides photo services, including passport photos and promotional products.
• Handles web order pick-up responsibilities and delivers orders to customers.
• Maintains store cleanliness and appearance.
• Follows company policies and fosters respectful coworker relationships.
• Completes assigned tasks and special projects as needed.

Training & Personal Development

• Attends training sessions and completes required learning programs as directed by management or corporate.

Basic Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least six months of retail experience preferred.
• Previous experience working with Walgreens is a plus.
