Customer Experience

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy) and Walgreens service traits (e.g., offering help proactively, identifying needs, servicing until satisfied).

Operations

• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service to customers.
• Recommends items for sale and suggests trade-up or complementary products.
• Processes sales at the cash register, handles cash and change, and manages voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean, well-merchandised, and maintains inventory records.
• Implements asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
• Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products such as alcohol and tobacco.
• Constructs and maintains displays, completes resets, and revisions as directed.
• Assists with food product placement and stock rotation following store policies.
• Maintains knowledge of store systems and equipment.
• Provides photo area services, including passport photos, poster prints, and promotional products.
• Manages web pick-up orders, fills and delivers orders as needed.
• Supports store cleanliness and appearance.
• Follows all policies and maintains respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Completes assigned tasks and special projects.

Training & Personal Development

• Attends training sessions and completes required learning modules (PPLs).

Basic Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (excluding Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• Previous Walgreens experience is a plus.
