Responsibilities
- Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- Register sales on assigned cash register, provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
- Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
- Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
- Share customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
- Provide fast, friendly, and efficient service; recommend items and upsell when appropriate.
- Handle transactions, including voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organize shelves, take inventory, and ensure proper product placement.
- Implement asset protection procedures and ensure compliance with laws regarding regulated products.
- Construct and maintain displays, assist with store resets, and manage food and product placement according to policies.
- Operate store systems and equipment, provide photo services, and handle web pick-up orders.
- Assist with store maintenance and adhere to all policies and procedures.
- Complete special assignments and other tasks as needed.
Training & Personal Development
- Attend training sessions and complete required PPLs.
- Be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Prefer at least six months of retail experience and prior Walgreens experience.
