Job summary

BFS Foods in Wellsville, OH is seeking a Customer Service Representative to deliver fast, friendly service. The role reports to the General Manager and emphasizes teamwork, safety, and accuracy in handling merchandise.

The CSR will interact with customers, read and write in English, perform basic store calculations, stock shelves, and operate the floor and cooler areas. The position is hourly, with shifts set by the General Manager and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, understand, write, and communicate in English.
• Be able to stand for up to eight hours.
• Be able to lift, carry and push up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Cooperate with and interact in a productive way with fellow employees.
• Be able to read, understand, write, and communicate in the English language.
• Check identification and pricing of merchandise.
• Stock shelves and coolers.
• Retrieve merchandise for customers.
• Tolerate exposure to cleaning products and sanitizing solutions.
• Clean windows and change gas price signs.
• Sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, remove and transport trash containers.
• Clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the store.
• Enter and work in a cooler up to 45 minutes at a time (36-40°F).
• Enter and work in a freezer up to 10 minutes at a time (0°F).
• Learn and work on a computer.
