Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our Checotah store. You will help customers with questions and recommendations, process sales at the register, and maintain a positive, safe environment while keeping the store well-stocked and organized.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or service experience is preferred. You must be able to lift 30–50 lbs, stand and walk frequently, and follow instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or related fields preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operating documents.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk frequently.
• Excellent customer service and relationship skills.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Handle sales transactions and operate the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
