Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service in retail, hospitality, grocery or drug store preferred.
• Follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks frequently.
• Excellent customer service and relationship skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Handle sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash safety and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading; replenish stock.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Keep the store clean, restrooms stocked, floors swept and mopped.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
