Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC, Cameron Park, CA, is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to provide a friendly, efficient shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and welcoming.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, operate with a team, and follow safety and productivity standards. You’ll work with leaders to maintain a positive store environment and deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional interactions.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
