Job summary

Family Dollar in Linwood, PA is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions, manage transactions at the register, and help maintain a clean, organized store environment.

The role requires good communication, the ability to follow instructions, and the physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and other physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise as needed.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness across the store, bathrooms, and floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
