Job summary

HELE is seeking a Customer Service Associate / Convenience Store Cashier at our Honolulu location. The role offers an hourly wage between $17.15 and $21.15 with a $3.00 shift differential.

Responsibilities include courteous customer service, accurate POS transactions, cash handling, stocking merchandise, and maintaining store cleanliness. Strong English communication and prior retail/cash experience are preferred. Benefits are provided for full‑time employees.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience in retail sales and cash handling preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service, including possible assistance at gas pumps.
• Ring up sales accurately on POS, handle cash and other payment forms.
• Manage cash and other tender types, including coupons and credit transactions.
• Follow store policies and safety/environmental procedures.
• Receive, stock, and organize merchandise; maintain inventory levels and shift audits.
• Attend safety trainings and meetings as required; perform cleaning and maintenance tasks.
