Job Overview:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate to join our team. This role requires a passion for cycling or outdoor gear and strong customer service skills. You will be the one of the first points of contact for customers, answering technical questions related to our bike racks, vehicles, and bicycles. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in a customer-facing role and a background in cycling or outdoor-related products.

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and chat.
  • Assist customers in selecting the right bike rack based on their vehicle type, bike specifications, and needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve product-related inquiries, including installation, compatibility, and maintenance issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Hollywood Racks' product lineup, features, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and product development, to provide customer feedback and improve the user experience.
  • Process orders, returns, and warranty claims efficiently.
  • Update and maintain customer records in our CRM system.
  • Ability to travel for trade shows/events a few times a year.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 2-3 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail, outdoor gear, or cycling industries.
  • Strong technical knowledge of bicycles, bike racks, and vehicle compatibility is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and explain technical product details in a clear, customer-friendly manner.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, order management software, and Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
  • Passion for cycling and/or outdoor activities.
