Job summary

Wawa is seeking an entry-level Associate to support daily store operations and deliver friendly service to customers. You will assist with food prep, beverage making, and transactional duties in a fast-paced convenience environment.

Candidates must be 16+ and comfortable multitasking, lifting, and working as part of a team. The role emphasizes accuracy, inventory upkeep, and maintaining a clean, welcoming store for all customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with customers to ensure their needs are met quickly and courteously.
• Prepare food items such as breakfast items, build-to-order sandwiches, specialty beverages, and pizzas; keep the coffee station clean and organized.
• Operate the cash register, handle payments, activate fuel and gift cards, and assist with lottery and ID verification for age-restricted products.
• Ensure stores are well-stocked and shelves remain fresh, full, and inviting.
• Help keep stores clean and safe by following all policy, procedures, and guidelines.
• Complete store housekeeping duties including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, and more.

What you'll do:

• Prepare food items such as our delicious breakfast items, built-to-order sandwiches, specialty beverages, and pizzas as well keeping our coffee station clean and organized.
• Operate the cash register, handle payments, activate fuel and gift cards, as well as assist with lottery and ID verification for age-restricted products.
• Ensure our stores are well-stocked and that our shelves remain fresh, full, and inviting.
• Help keep our stores clean and safe by following all established policy, procedures, and guidelines.

The hourly range for this position is $15.50 - $19.25 and is commensurate with position, experience, and location. Associates in this position will receive a $1.50 shift differential for hours worked between 12am - 6am.
