Job summary

Wawa is hiring at our Fallston, MD location for a customer service and food preparation role. You will greet customers, prepare breakfast items and sandwiches, beverages, and pizzas, and maintain a clean coffee station.

You will operate the register, process payments, handle fuel and gift card activations, and assist with lottery ID verifications in a fast-paced setting. We offer inclusive benefits and flexible schedules where allowed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items including breakfast items, built-to-order sandwiches, beverages, and pizzas; keep coffee station clean and organized.
• Operate the cash register, handle payments, activate fuel and gift cards, assist with lottery and ID checks for age-restricted products.
• Ensure stores are well-stocked with fresh, inviting shelves.
• Follow established policies to keep stores clean and safe; perform housekeeping tasks (dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).

Job description

What you'll do:

• Greet and engage with customers to ensure their needs are met both quickly and courteously.
• Prepare food items such as our delicious breakfast items, built-to-order sandwiches, specialty beverages, and pizzas as well keeping our coffee station clean and organized.
• Operate the cash register, handle payments, activate fuel and gift cards, as well as assist with lottery and ID verification for age-restricted products.
• Ensure our stores are well-stocked and that our shelves remain fresh, full, and inviting.
• Help keep our stores clean and safe by following all established policy, procedures, and guidelines.
• Complete store housekeeping duties including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, and more.

The hourly range for this position is $15.50 - $19.25 and is commensurate with position, experience, and location. Associates in this position will receive a $1.50 shift differential for hours worked between 12am - 6am.
