Job summary

Salud Family Health is seeking a Customer Service Associate to create a positive first impression for patients, check them in, and support the front desk with a friendly, team-based approach. This role emphasizes patient self-management support and clear communication within a care team.

The position is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with a starting wage of $19.50 to $22.50 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or GED is required.
• Experience: One year of front desk/customer service experience in a medical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and welcome them to Salud Family Health.
• Check patients in for all appointment types and verify information.
• Check-out patients after appointments and process payments as needed.
• Make reminder calls and handle patient questions and complaints.
• Learn and follow complex policies and procedures.

Job Description

TheCustomer Service Associate(CSA) is responsible for creating a positive first impression, exhibiting excellent customer service, and promoting a pleasing experience for Salud patients. The CSA approaches his/her tasks in a team-based care fashion that supports patients and their families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change.

A Day in the Life of a Customer Service Associate (CSA) with Salud:

Your genuine spirit of caring welcomes patients as the first step prior to seeing the Doctor, NP, or PA. You may serve as a greeter, front desk receptionist, and/or cashier. You will welcomeall patients to Salud and checks them in for all appointment types, checking patients out at the end of an appointment. Make reminder calls, answer questions, manage patient complaints and so much more to ensure a positive experience for all of our patients.

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduation from an accredited high school or GED is required

Experience:

• One year of front desk/customer service experience in a medical setting preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must work well with the other patient care team members
• Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately with patients

• One year of clerical office experience preferred
