Job summary

PeopleReady of Turlock, CA is hiring a Customer Service And Operations Coordinator to serve as a primary contact for customers across phone, email, and chat, coordinate quotes, orders, and delivery routing.

This role emphasizes multitasking, accurate data entry, and clear communication, with 1st shift and weekend hours and pay between $25 and $30 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous customer service, admin, dispatch, retail, hospitality, or related experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning multiple software systems; training will be provided on company-specific programs.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Accurate typing and data entry skills; 40+ WPM preferred.
  • Professional, patient, and able to handle customer questions and concerns appropriately.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and confidential customer and company information.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with light shop or inventory duties as needed.
  • Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers by phone, email, and chat, answering questions, providing job updates, and handling special requests.
  • Prepare customer quotes based on pricing requests, submit them for approval, send approved quotes, and follow up on pending bids and sales opportunities.
  • Gather and maintain accurate customer contact and job information.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules, truck routes, and driver assignments, and work with supervisors to keep jobs on schedule.
  • Process new orders and distribute paperwork and job information to the appropriate departments.
  • Track additional charges and billing items and communicate updates to customers and Accounting.
  • Document and photograph damages when needed.
  • Use Goodshuffle and other systems to track inventory, equipment, customer information, and job documentation.
  • Assist with picking, packing, restocking, samples, and other shop duties as needed.
  • Maintain required certificates, records, and other documentation.
  • Assist with social media and marketing content when assigned.
  • Provide timely, professional customer service and follow up on open quotes, jobs, and customer requests.

Customer Service And Operations Coordinator

PeopleReady of Turlock, CA is now hiring Customer Service And Operations Coordinators! This role provides timely, accurate, and courteous support across multiple communication channels, including phone, email, live chat, and social media. The associate serves as a primary contact for customer inquiries and also coordinates quote creation, order dispatch support, delivery routing/scheduling, job progress checks, and closeout tasks.

Pay Rate

The pay rate for this job is $25 - $30 / hour*

What you’ll be doing as a Customer Service And Operations Coordinator:

Job requirements:
