Job summary

The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) seeks a Consumer Services Consultant (WT: Customer Service Analyst II) to assess caller inquiries and resolve requests for service related to driver licenses and motor vehicles.

The successful candidate will use computer applications and search engines, work in a team, and contribute to improving customer service. Telework may be available subject to policy and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Preference given to candidates with customer service experience.
• Experience resolving customer concerns.
• Proficiency with computer and internet applications for information retrieval.
• Typing speed 30-40 words per minute.
• Strong focus on responsiveness and follow-through.
• Professional communication and calmness under pressure.
• Knowledge of Driver License and Motor Vehicle laws and policies.
