Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Courtesy Clerk to assist customers, keep the store clean, stocked, and welcoming, and help with bagging and transporting purchases. You will also support the storefront and team as needed, ensuring a positive shopping experience.

The role emphasizes friendly service, physical activity, teamwork, and adherence to store guidelines. Training is provided, with day shifts available to support customers during peak hours.

Qualifications

• No education or experience requirements; we will provide all the training you need to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile, learning their names, and going out of your way to make every visit a great one
• Package customer purchases and assist customers in transporting them to their mode of transportation
• Bring carts in from the parking lot and cart corrals throughout your shift
• Clean registers, restrooms, the break room, and the backroom, and sweep and mop floors as needed
• Stock, face, and rotate merchandise, clean shelves, understand shelf tags, and know the location of merchandise in the store and backroom
• Check prices on products as needed
