Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. in Grimes, IA invites you to join our Customer Service team. You will greet customers, handle a variety of transactions, and assist with services such as mailing packages, money transfers, and licensing.

Your role will require accuracy, friendliness, and teamwork in a fast-paced store environment. You will process checks, money orders, lottery operations, and other in-store services while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and adherence to Hy-Vee policies and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and learn their names.
• Weigh postal packages and process mail.
• Process Western Union orders and faxes for customers.
• Sell money orders and checks and licenses as applicable.
• Assist customers at registers and other store areas as needed.
• Answer phones and use intercom per procedures.
• Keep work area clean and organized; report to scheduled shifts.
• Work with teammates to ensure customer satisfaction.
