Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative to support our sales team and customers in Yakima, WA. This on-site role operates 7:30 am–4:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with a focus on inquiries, quotes, orders, and parts sourcing.

The ideal candidate has 6+ months in customer service or inside sales, basic Excel skills, and a high school diploma. A team-oriented environment with bonuses and benefits awaits.

Qualifications

• 6+ months customer service or inside sales experience.
• Industrial distribution or parts counter environment a plus.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to multitask, sense of humor.
• Written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude. Basic computer skills including Excel.
• Valid driver's license & clean driving record (MVR).
• This position is not eligible for relocation benefits and is expected to be performed on site.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the US. We are not able to offer sponsorship of work visas for this position.

In accordance with applicable wage transparency law requirements, the typical estimated hourly rate range for this position and location is $18.00 – 20.00/hr depending on experience. Potential bonus opportunity is tied to location and individual performance and has averaged $200 – $800 per month. No specific amount is guaranteed.

What You’ll Do

In our fast-paced team environment, you will partner with our customers and Account Manager to find products and services, solve customer needs, and build ongoing positive business relationships.

• Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to multitask, sense of humor
• Written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude. Basic computer skills including Excel
• Valid driver's license & clean driving record (MVR)
