Job summary

Staples, Inc. is seeking a Shipping Associate to deliver excellent customer service while handling shipping needs and unpackaged returns in our Davenport store. You’ll work in a fun, team-oriented environment with training provided and opportunities for quick in-person interviews after applying.

Flexible hours can be part-time or full-time based on store needs. You’ll contribute to a fast-paced shipping area, engage customers, and help keep stock and supplies ready for daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct all Full-Serve Shipping and Unpackaged Returns activities, including customer engagement and preparing packages for pick-up for 3rd party carriers.
• Provide strong customer service for shipping needs and returns, including UPS or other services.
• Explain different shipping options to customers and identify their needs.
• Maintain the Shipping area for efficient processing and storage of packages.
• Ensure supplies for shipping and returns are in stock.
• Provide a positive, inviting environment for customers through service.
• Be flexible with responsibilities (e.g., online pick-ups, cleaning, other duties).

Help both your customer and your store win.

• Conduct all Full-Serve Shipping and Unpackaged Returns activities, including customer engagement and preparing packages for pick-up for 3rd party carriers

• Provide strong customer service, whether it's an Amazon return, shipping a package via UPS or another related service.

• Engage in and identify customer needs for shipping and explain different shipping options

• Maintain the Shipping area to ensure efficient processing and storage of packages

• Ensure supplies required to process Ship and Returns are in stock

• Provide exceptional customer service to create a positive, inviting environment for customers

• Understand and use basic selling skills to engage and present solutions

• Be flexible on responsibilities (e.g., online pick-ups, cleaning, any other duties as assigned)
