Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring for an outdoor customer service role at our Kailua airport location. You will assist customers returning rental vehicles, greet them, secure keys, record mileage and fuel levels, and check cars in using our computer system.

We offer on-the-job training, paid time off, medical/dental insurance, a 401(k), and employee discounts. Must be able to work outdoors and stand/walk for extended periods; 18+ and legally eligible to work in the U.S.

In this role, you’ll be a key part of the return process—helping customers move smoothly through their drop-off while ensuring vehicles are accurately checked in and ready for the next rental.

What You’ll Do

In this outdoor role, you will assist customers as they return their rental vehicles. This includes greeting customers, securing keys, recording mileage, fuel levels, and vehicle condition, and checking cars into our computer system. You will also help ensure vehicles are processed efficiently and accurately, all while delivering professional, friendly customer service.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Driver’s License

• Flexibility to work all shifts
• Must be able to stand, walk, or move throughout the rental lot, enter and exit vehicles for prolonged periods, and drive a variety of vehicles
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely
• 6 months retail or customer service experience is a bonus
