We are looking for an experienced HubSpot Administrator / CRM Platform specialist to take ownership of a HubSpot environment that sits at the heart of the organisation's Sales, Marketing and Client Management operations.
This is much more than a day-to-day administration role. You'll be the technical owner and strategic architect of the HubSpot platform, responsible for ensuring it is well designed, properly governed, scalable and continually optimised to support the wider Go-to-Market (GTM) organisation.
You'll have a hands-on role across HubSpot administration, CRM architecture, data governance, integrations, automation, reporting and process optimisation, while also helping shape the longer-term product roadmap.
A particularly important part of the role will be supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses, leading CRM migrations and bringing their data, processes and ways of working into the central HubSpot environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of a platform, solving complex problems and finding ways to make technology simpler and more effective for commercial teams.
What you'll be doing
You'll take end-to-end responsibility for the HubSpot platform, ensuring it remains fit for purpose as the organisation grows.
This will include:
- Owning the HubSpot product roadmap, identifying opportunities to introduce new functionality, integrations and improvements.
- Managing core HubSpot administration including users, roles, permissions, properties, fields, custom objects and platform configuration.
- Designing and optimising the overall CRM architecture.
- Maintaining the health, performance and scalability of the HubSpot environment.
- Identifying opportunities to simplify processes and make better use of existing HubSpot functionality.
- Working with technical and commercial stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective CRM solutions.
- Overseeing the integration of new technologies and data sources into the HubSpot ecosystem.
CRM Migrations & Acquisitions
A major element of the role will be supporting the integration of acquired businesses.
You'll:
- Lead or significantly contribute to CRM migrations and system integrations.
- Assess existing CRM structures, data and processes within acquired businesses.
- Develop approaches for migrating and standardising data into the central HubSpot environment.
- Ensure data is accurate, consistent and appropriately mapped between systems.
- Help establish repeatable approaches to future acquisitions and migrations.
- Work closely with stakeholders to manage the technical and operational change involved in bringing new entities onto the platform.
Data, Governance & Compliance
You'll be a key custodian of the organisation's CRM data, ensuring it remains accurate, usable and properly governed.
Responsibilities will include:
- Establishing and maintaining data quality and governance standards.
- Managing data cleansing, enrichment and standardisation.
- Identifying and resolving data integrity issues.
- Ensuring CRM configuration and processes support relevant data privacy requirements, including GDPR and CCPA.
- Developing appropriate processes for managing data throughout its lifecycle.
- Working with stakeholders to ensure reporting and decision-making are based on reliable data.
Automation, Lead Scoring & Marketing Operations
You'll also play an important role in making HubSpot work harder for the commercial organisation.
You'll design and optimise:
- Lead and intent scoring models, combining fit, behavioural and engagement criteria.
- Lead routing and prioritisation processes.
- Marketing automation and nurture workflows.
- Campaign frameworks designed to support the full customer lifecycle.
- Sales and marketing processes within HubSpot.
- AI-enabled and predictive capabilities, including intent data and propensity scoring where appropriate.
- Attribution and campaign reporting.
You’ll work closely with Marketing and Sales leadership to ensure the platform supports effective lead generation, conversion and revenue growth.
Reporting & Analytics
You'll develop and maintain sophisticated reporting and dashboards for Sales, Marketing, Client Management and senior leadership.
This will include:
- Building advanced HubSpot dashboards and reports.
- Monitoring pipeline health, conversion rates and other key commercial metrics.
- Supporting forecasting and performance analysis.
- Reviewing marketing attribution and campaign effectiveness.
- Using data to identify opportunities to improve processes and commercial performance.
- Helping teams turn CRM data into actionable insight.
Process Improvement & GTM Support
You'll look beyond the technology itself and understand how the business uses the CRM.
- Map, document and audit complex Sales and Marketing processes.
- Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation.
- Build sales playbooks and nurture programmes within HubSpot.
- Configure the platform to support new Go-to-Market initiatives.
- Work with Sales, Marketing and Client Management teams to improve consistency and efficiency.
- Translate business requirements into practical, scalable CRM solutions.
Change, Training & Adoption
You'll also be an important change agent across the organisation.
You'll help teams get the most from HubSpot by:
- Supporting the adoption of new features, processes and workflows.
- Developing training materials and system documentation.
- Providing guidance to users and commercial teams.
- Working with Sales Excellence and other stakeholders to support new processes.
- Communicating technical changes in a way that makes sense to non-technical users.
What we’re looking for
We're looking for someone who combines deep HubSpot expertise with strong analytical, technical and commercial thinking.
You’ll ideally have:
- 3+ years of hands-on HubSpot Administration experience.
- Strong practical experience across the HubSpot Sales, Marketing and Service Hubs.
- Experience managing CRM architecture, data structures, workflows, reporting and integrations.
- Proven experience contributing to or leading CRM/system migrations, ideally involving acquired businesses.
- Strong understanding of CRM data management, governance and data quality.
- Experience designing and optimising complex workflows and automation.
- Strong reporting and analytical capabilities within HubSpot.
- Excellent Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Experience mapping, documenting and improving Sales and Marketing processes.
- A good understanding of the B2B revenue lifecycle, including sales pipelines, conversion, forecasting and commercial performance metrics.
- An understanding of data privacy requirements such as GDPR and CCPA.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience creating documentation and delivering training or enablement would be highly beneficial.
This role would suit someone who sees themselves as more than a CRM administrator.
You’ll be someone who naturally looks at a process and thinks "there must be a better way of doing this."
You're comfortable getting into the detail of CRM architecture, data structures and workflows, but can also step back and understand what Sales and Marketing teams actually need from the technology.
This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of a critical business platform and have a direct influence on how the organisation uses technology to support its commercial growth.
You'll have the scope to shape the HubSpot architecture, drive optimisation, lead migration activity and introduce better ways of working, rather than simply maintaining an existing system.
