Job summary

Schaeffler is seeking a Quality/ supplier quality professional to monitor customer performance, drive process improvements, and lead problem-solving efforts. The role requires collaboration with customers on approvals, FAI/PPAP activities, audits, and KPI management to ensure supply continuity.

Ideal candidates will have a engineering degree, strong analytical and communication skills, and familiarity with AIAG tools and SAP. US work authorization is required, with travel to support customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and work independently.
• Customer service mindset with results-oriented focus.
• Knowledge of AIAG tools and industry standards (PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship; US Person per export control.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report customer performance with timely corrective actions.
• Collaborate with customers on process approvals and changes.
• Perform FAI/PPAP activities and DQR responsibilities.
• Maintain customer visit and audit schedules.
• Support audits, standardization, waste elimination, and CI efforts.
• Monitor and improve supplier and customer KPIs.
• Lead problem-solving and root-cause analysis to prevent recurrences.
• Resolve customer technical issues to maintain supply continuity.
• Support long-term customer relationships and cost reduction.
• Travel as needed to support customers and duties.
• Support achievement of local and global KPIs and promote company policies.
