Job summary

Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG is seeking a capable professional to ensure robust customer collaboration and quality processes. The role focuses on monitoring customer performance, facilitating process approvals, and leading PPAP/FAI activities to sustain supply continuity.

The successful candidate will coordinate audits, support continuous improvement, and drive Lean initiatives within a cross-functional team, including travel to support customers as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical discipline.
• Ability to prioritize effectively, work independently, and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Results-oriented with a strong customer service mindset.
• Knowledge of AIAG tools and standards, including PPAP, APQP, QSA, MSA, SPC, and FMEA.
• Authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or sponsorship.
• US Person export control compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report customer performance, ensuring timely corrective actions are implemented.
• Collaborate with customers on new process approvals and process changes.
• Perform FAI/PPAP activities and customer-delegated DQR responsibilities.
• Maintain customer visit and audit schedules.
• Support audits, process standardization, waste elimination, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Monitor and improve supplier and customer KPIs.
• Lead problem-solving and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of nonconformances.
• Resolve customer technical issues promptly to maintain supply continuity.
• Support long-term customer relationships and cost reduction initiatives.
• Travel as needed to support customers and job responsibilities.
• Support achievement of local and global KPIs.
• Communicate effectively and promote company policies, procedures, and mission.
• Comply with export control, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Promote Lean principles and continuous improvement within the team.

Your Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a technical discipline, or an equivalent qualification with demonstrated competency
• Strong ability to prioritize effectively, work independently, and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision‑making skills
• Results‑oriented with a strong customer service mindset
• Knowledge of AIAG tools and related industry standards, including PPAP, APQP, QSA, MSA, SPC, and FMEA
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship
• This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee

Preferred:

• Background in a manufacturing or similar environment
• Proven success working in both functional and cross‑functional teams
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferablySAP
• Knowledge ofAS9100 is considered an asset
