Job summary

Shape Corp. is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer (CQE) to represent the voice of the customer within the organization. The CQE will lead APQP activities and milestone events across all program phases following the SPMP process, acting as the key interface between customers and Shape.

The role requires driving PPAP submissions, PFMEA and control plan development, and coordinating with Shape and supplier teams to ensure line readiness and issue prevention during launches.

Qualifications

• Experience documenting APQP, PFMEA, MSA and PPAP for new programs.
• Ability to develop and maintain PFMEA, control plans, and process flows with emphasis on critical characteristics.
• Interpret customer requirements and manage supplier run-at-rate and QAV activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop APQP documentation to support Product Realization Process per customer requirements.
• Facilitate development and maintenance of PFMEA, control plans, and process flows with focus on critical and special characteristics.
• Ensure inspection and containment plans are in place for the process value stream.
