Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer in Mount Pleasant, PA to be the voice of the customer and drive improvements across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and project teams. You will lead investigations into product performance, coordinate issue resolution, and develop actions to strengthen customer confidence and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an Associate’s degree with relevant experience.
• Experience in quality management, engineering, manufacturing, product development, or project management.
• Knowledge of high voltage products, electrical power systems, or related technologies is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to resolve complex customer concerns.

• Lead root cause investigations for failures involving high voltage products.
• Coordinate customer complaints and drive timely, sustainable resolutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and reliability.
• Prepare and present technical reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators to support business decisions.
• Lead and support quality and continuous improvement projects.
• Provide technical support and coordinate on-site investigations when required.
• Identify improvement opportunities and drive implementation of corrective actions.

Working across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and project teams, you will lead investigations into product performance, coordinate customer issue resolution, and drive meaningful improvements that strengthen both customer confidence and operational excellence.

Your Background

• Proven ability to communicate effectively and resolve complex customer concerns.


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP, SharePoint, and other business systems.


• Fluent English communication skills; additional language capabilities are an advantage.
