EMR USA Metal Recycling in Bristol, PA is seeking a Customer Quality Assurance Inspector to perform outdoor quality checks of loads and ensure materials are free of debris in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities include inspecting loads, preventing hazardous materials from entering processing, directing site traffic, and maintaining safety standards. High school diploma or GED and reliable transportation required; prior QA preferred. On-the-job training and benefits provided.

Role Overview

The Quality Assurance Inspector at EMR plays a vital role in ensuring safety, quality, and smooth operations. This role is active, engaging, and outdoors focused. You'll work in various weather conditions and occasionally near heavy machinery. Your work will involve using modern communication tools and fostering positive interactions with diverse individuals daily.

Other Job Demands

While performing the essential functions of this job, the Quality Assurance Inspector will be in an environment of field work. The employee may be working near moving mechanical parts and will be in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment can be loud and require ear protection. The employee is required to sit, walk and stand for periods of time. This job also requires frequent bending, kneeling and standing, lifting up to 50 lbs., working in confined spaces, and ability to work in high/low temperatures. The employee may be required to use a computer for extended periods of time. Communication will be via telephone, mobile phone, email, text and in-person with others to exchange accurate information.
