Job summary

Optify Search is recruiting for a Customer Projects Leader to manage and deliver complex customer initiatives within the cosmetics field. You will act as the main client point of contact, coordinating timelines, priorities, and deliverables from initial request to project completion.

Work with internal teams including R&D, Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, and Product Management to translate customer needs into actionable plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Engineering in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Cosmetics Science, or related field.
• 1–5 years coordinating projects, customer requests, product development or technical programs in cosmetics/personal care/life sciences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate customer projects from request to completion.

Optify Search are currently partnered with a global manufacturer of innovative biological active molecules for the cosmetics industry, searching for a Customer Projects Leader.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate customer projects, ensuring effective management of timelines, priorities, and deliverables from initial request through to project completion.
• Act as the primary contact for customers, providing updates, coordinating technical requests, and ensuring a high level of service throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal departments, including R&D, Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, and Product Management, to ensure customer requirements are translated into actionable project plans.
• Monitor project progress and maintain documentation, utilizing CRM and project management tools to track activities, deadlines, and outcomes.
• Participate in customer meetings, training sessions, and industry events, supporting the promotion of the company's innovative portfolio of biological active ingredients.

Qualifications

• Scientific Background: Bachelor's, Master's, or Engineering degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Cosmetics Science, or a related discipline.
• Project Management Experience: 1-5 years of experience coordinating projects, customer requests, product development activities, or technical programs within the cosmetics, personal care, life sciences, or related industries.
• Strong Organizational Skills: Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
• Customer-Focused Mindset: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
• Personal Attributes: Autonomous, proactive, curious, and solution-oriented, with a genuine interest in science and customer project management.
