Job summary

Optify Search is partnering with a Personal Care Manufacturer to recruit an R&D Chemist in Los Angeles, CA. The role focuses on the development of innovative color cosmetic and skincare formulations in line with client briefs, market trends, and regulatory requirements.

You will manage end-to-end product development projects from ideation to pilot, scale-up and commercialization, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in color cosmetics, skincare, haircare and body care formulation development.
• CDMO experience preferred.

To be considered for the role, the following education, experience and qualifications are required:

• 3+ years in color cosmetics, skincare, haircare and body care formulation development.
• Previous experience at a CDMO is highly preferred.
