Business Development Manager - Cosmetics

Your responsibilities:

• Drive market expansion and revenue growth in the US cosmetics sector by shaping and executing targeted commercial strategies
• Spot and act on high-value opportunities and emerging segments
• Lead high-stake negotiations and secure strategic partnerships with key industry players
• Build and nurture strong relationships across the cosmetics ecosystem to accelerate business development momentum
• Serve as a technical partner to customers (including formulators, brands, contract manufacturers, and global corporations); providing guidance on product selection, formulation challenges, regulatory considerations, and market trends
• Track market dynamics, competitor moves, regulatory shifts, and ingredient innovations
• Represent the company at major trade shows, conferences, and industry events

Your Profile:

• A bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Formulation Science, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in business development or technical sales within the cosmetics or personal care industry
• Solid technical expertise in cosmetic ingredients and formulation technologies
• Practical experience in formulation or product development is a strong advantage
• A well-established network across the cosmetics landscape
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage formulators, R&D teams, procurement, and senior leadership
• Willingness to travel up to 50 % to support customers and business growth
