Job summary

Graybar is hiring a Customer Project Specialist to manage large, time-sensitive project orders and act as the liaison between our customers and vendors. You will ensure material arrives when and where it’s needed, while maintaining strong relationships and accurate order processing.

You will enter orders, prepare submittals, handle returns, and provide detailed reporting. A focus on customer service and attention to detail is essential, with SAP and MS Office experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Customer service experience and problem-solving abilities.
• 2+ years experience preferred; 4 year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter orders on large project orders accurately.
• Prepare and revise material submittals for customers.
• Handle returns and credits with proper documentation.
• Provide reporting to customers and suppliers using project software.
• Coordinate item deliveries to ensure on-time performance.
• Execute job lot billing and process invoices for payment.

Make a difference.As a Customer Project Specialist, you will work with customers on large projects, time-sensitive deadlines and complex orders. You will serve as the liaison between vendor and customer to ensure material gets to the project site when it’s needed and how it’s needed.
