Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart, Inc. is seeking a friendly Customer Pick Up associate to greet customers at their vehicles and help transfer merchandise safely into their cars.

You will inspect items for flaws, load and secure merchandise, verify product accuracy with the customer, and complete required paperwork. The role may require night, weekend, and early morning shifts based on business needs, and a positive, proactive attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age.
• 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• 1 year customer contact experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Positive, upbeat attitude.
• Ability to lift/push/pull required weights.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet customer at their vehicle promptly with a helpful smile.
• Inspect, uncrate, apply fabric coating and re-crate merchandise; examine product for flaws.
• Load and secure merchandise into customer’s vehicle without damage.
• Confirm correct merchandise and complete appropriate paperwork.
• Report daily progress and immediately report discrepancies, errors or potential roadblocks to supervisor.
