RXO, Inc. is hiring a Customer Operations Representative in Minnesota to execute daily operations supporting customer accounts.

You will help maintain strong relationships by understanding customer needs, monitoring shipment activity, and ensuring timely, accurate service execution. The role emphasizes data accuracy in TMS, proactive communication with customers, and collaboration with Sales and Carrier Operations to drive account growth and profitability.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support Sales with managing the branch's key accounts.
• Enter loads and confirm notes about shipment status.
• Schedule pickup and delivery appointments with warehouses and customers.
• Track shipment status from inception to delivery and update the customer.
• Handle issues on shipments and share updates with the customer.
• Enter information into the Transportation Management System (TMS) and prepare loads for accounting.
• Communicate all shipment, billing or follow-up issues to the Sales Manager and Carrier Operations Group.
• Prioritize daily workload and account focus, including load entry, tracking and reporting.
• Monitor report cards.

Compensation for this role is $19.23-$21.64/hour. The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set.

As a Customer Operations Representative, you are responsible for executing daily operational activities that support customer accounts. You will help maintain strong customer relationships by understanding customer needs, monitoring shipment activity, and ensuring timely and accurate service execution. Your role contributes to account growth, operational efficiency, and overall profitability.

What Your Day-to-day Will Look Like

• Support Sales with managing the branches key accounts
• Enter loads and confirm notes about the status of shipments
• Schedule pickup and delivery appointments with warehouses and customers
• Track the status of shipments from inception to delivery, and communicate with the customer on the status of the shipments
• Handle any issues that arise on shipments and share information and updates with the customer
• Enter information into the Transportation Management System (TMS) and prepare loads for accounting; ensure that entries are accurate and complete
• Communicate all shipment, billing or follow-up issues to the Sales Manager and Carrier Operations Group
• Prioritize the daily workload and focus of your accounts, including load entry, tracking and reporting
• Monitor report cards

At a Minimum, You’ll Need

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated work style with the capacity to work well with minimal direct supervision or in a team environment
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment

It’d Be Great If You Also Have

• 1 year of sales or customer service experience
• 1 year of related experience and/or training, and a general understanding of the transportation industry
• Solid attention to detail and follow-up skills with experience identifying and resolving problems
