Job summary

ASTEC in Parsons, KS is seeking a Customer Operations Manager to lead the Parts Department, oversee order processing, logistics, and customer service, and drive profitability in parts sales across domestic and international channels.

You will manage dealer and direct customer inquiries, coordinate shipments, prepare reports, and mentor the team, with travel up to 10% regionally and internationally. Fluent English required; bachelor’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Post-high school education completed.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in sales or customer service environment.
• Mechanical or machinery industry experience preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings.
• Ability to read electrical drawings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel.
• Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and exceptional customer service to customers, dealers, and suppliers.
• Coordinate orders, quotes, and transportation logistics to ensure on-time delivery.
• Analyze data and reports to promote growth and maintain margins on parts.
• Supervise Parts Team, conduct reviews, and provide training.
• Travel to customer sites and trade shows as needed to build brand loyalty.
