Job summary

Ag Express Electronics is seeking a Customer Operations Manager to lead customer-facing operations by overseeing the Product Sales Specialist and Product Support teams. This role drives operational excellence, improves responsiveness, and delivers outstanding customer experience from Des Moines, IA.

The position focuses on coaching, process improvement, and data-driven leadership to support revenue growth and efficiency through ERP and automation enhancements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business/Operations; Bachelor's preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive customer service/operations leadership.
• 3+ years supervising employees.
• Experience improving processes, metrics, and projects.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing or related fields.
• Experience managing customer SLAs.
• Proficient in MS 365 and ERP systems; Lean Six Sigma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer-facing operations, overseeing Product Sales Specialist and Product Support.
• Drive operational excellence and accountability with measurable metrics.
• Oversee order lifecycle from quotation to shipment and RMAs.
• Improve throughput, standardize procedures, and automate where possible.
• Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, Repair Ops, Purchasing, and Inventory.
• Develop KPIs and regular performance reports; coach the team.
• Support new product launches and customer initiatives.
• Lead continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
