Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience relevant to supply chain.
• Experience applying MRP concepts and forecasting in a business setting.
• Ability to collaborate with Sales, Supplier Management and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyses customer forecasts and trends using MRP concepts with Sales to plan and forecast.
• Prepares forecast models; liaising with customers, suppliers and sales to assess feasibility.
• Applies inventory management discipline to assess levels and aging.
• Participates in program setup and maintenance (EOL, part changes, transitions).
• Negotiates with suppliers on channel and distributor policy to improve profitability.
• Manages customer backlog and provides commitments for shipments.
