Job description

UniClean is seeking a reliable and hardworking Customer On-Site Porter to join our UniClean Family. As a Team Partner in the Contamination Control Services Department, you will be maintaining the distribution areas for customer’s cleanroom garments at the customer site. At UniClean we provide a variety of shifts. Our standard is a 5-day work week, enjoy two days off a week. We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training.

What you’ll be doing

  • Collect cleanroom garments from various labs.
  • Distribute cleanroom garments to various labs.
  • Work with the Service Manager to maintain inventory levels, recognize shortages, and gather end user feedback.
  • Gather information about Customer Facility to include facility shutdowns, shift level changes, etc.
  • Report any information either internal or external that may affect or assist any sector of UniClean.
  • Follow all safety policies, HACCP, and medical guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

  • High school education and/or GED, two-year degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • 1+ month of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is highly preferred.
  • Effective verbal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to define problems, resolve issues, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions using American standard units in weight, measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs and at certain times 50lbs for short periods.
