Job description

UniClean is seeking a reliable and hardworking Customer On-Site Porter to join our UniClean Family. As a Team Partner in the Contamination Control Services Department, you will be maintaining the distribution areas for customer’s cleanroom garments at the customer site. At UniClean we provide a variety of shifts. Our standard is a 5-day work week, enjoy two days off a week. We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training.

What you’ll be doing

1. Collect cleanroom garments from various labs.
2. Distribute cleanroom garments to various labs.
3. Work with the Service Manager to maintain inventory levels, recognize shortages, and gather end user feedback.
4. Gather information about Customer Facility to include facility shutdowns, shift level changes, etc.
5. Report any information either internal or external that may affect or assist any sector of UniClean.
6. Follow all safety policies, HACCP, and medical guidelines.
7. Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

1. High school education and/or GED, two-year degree or equivalent preferred.
2. Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
3. 1+ month of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is highly preferred.
4. Effective verbal and communication skills.
5. Exceptional attention to detail.
6. Ability to define problems, resolve issues, and draw valid conclusions.
7. Ability to perform basic mathematical functions using American standard units in weight, measurement, volume, and distance.
8. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs and at certain times 50lbs for short periods.
