Centier Bank in Whiting is seeking a Universal Banker (Bank Teller) to deliver exceptional client service and manage routine teller transactions. You will educate clients on available products and guide them through account openings and daily banking needs.

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and active participation in branch operations, with opportunities to Refer clients to specialists and support sales goals.

Qualifications

• - High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• - Banking experience is a plus, but not required.
• - Minimum of six months customer service/cash handling experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• - Provide the highest levels of quality service to clients in a friendly, professional manner.
• - Establish rapport, identify needs, explain solutions, handle objections and seek business.
• - Understand and advise on the bank’s products and digital channels.
• - Perform basic teller transactions and balance cash drawers.
• - Maintain accurate records and handle monies securely.
