Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Customer Logistics Supervisor in Greencastle, PA to lead daily logistics operations and coach a frontline team. You will drive safe, efficient service aligned with customer expectations and work closely with the Logistics Manager on process planning.

The role emphasizes leadership, planning, and continuous improvement, with a focus on health, safety, and inclusion initiatives, as well as meeting KPIs and ensuring high-quality service.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 0 to 1 year direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
• 1 year or more experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Travel willingness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and oversee day-to-day logistics operations.
• Plan and review logistics processes with the Logistics Manager to meet standards and customer service specs.

Job Description: We are immediately hiring a Customer Logistics Supervisor in Greencastle, PA for our Supply Chain Solutions division.

Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month Annual Salary Pay: $65,000.00 per year based on experience Sign On Bonus: $2,500.00 Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Summary

Supervisors are responsible for leading their shift or assigned area of the operation, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with customer expectations. They coach, train, develop, and support their teams while driving engagement and accountability. In addition, they play a critical role in continuous improvement efforts, operational excellence, and achieving key customer performance metrics.

Essential Functions

• Supervise, coordinate and oversee day to day logistics operations;
• Plan and review, in collaboration with the Logistics Manager, all logistics processes, ensuring that they meet the company standards and customer service specifications;
• Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities of the workers to ensure optimal shift/team logistics;
• Accountable for site Key Performance Indication (KPI);
• Working in collaboration with customer in all aspect of operations;
• Meet regularly with team members collectively, as well as on an individual basis to monitor progress towards meeting objectives, track performance, coach and counsel as well as recognizing team and individual successes;
• Cultivate team spirit with a Diversity and Inclusion initiative and promote cooperation by seeking opportunities to improve internal processes;
• Carry out performance evaluations of the team members and recommend performance awards and/or merit increases when appropriate;
• Address performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary process;
• Responsible for implementation of health & safety and security initiatives, practices and behaviors and adherence to company rules and policies;
• Provide appropriate orientation for employees and Lead Hands and give them the information, technology and any material necessary to perform their jobs;
• Perform other duties as assigned.
