Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Customer Logistics Manager in Salt Lake City to oversee daily operations within a dedicated transportation solutions function. You will lead a team, drive customer service excellence, ensure scheduling and planning, and enforce safety and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes leadership of direct reports, achievement of daily goals, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end logistics solutions for customers.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
• Two+ years in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field.
• One+ year direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) required, advanced preferred.
• Logistics industry knowledge advanced.
• Knowledge of local and federal regulations advanced.
• Fundamental knowledge of SCM components (planning, procurement, production, distribution).
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing and production processes advanced.
