Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is hiring for Loader roles in Saint Charles, MO. The position focuses on assisting customers, locating and loading merchandise, and supporting checkout and fulfillment across the store.

Training on power equipment and safety is provided to ensure accurate loading and handling of products. Responsibilities include serving Pro and Garden Center customers, maintaining stock, and ensuring safe, organized work areas.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service through Lowe’s customer service policies, procedures, and programs.
• Assist customers with locating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise and respond to questions.
• Support checkout, fulfillment, and customer assistance needs throughout the store.
• Pull, stage, and prepare customer and contractor orders accurately and efficiently.
• Use power equipment and store technology safely to move, stage, and load merchandise
• Maintain in-stock conditions by down stocking and replenishing merchandise
• Support large order fulfillment while maintaining product quality and accuracy
• Identify and report safety hazards, theft, and security concerns
• Operate store equipment as needed (e.g., Zebra phone, paging system, copiers, CCTV)
• Communicate stock, special order merchandise, product features and warranty to customers
• Follow Lowe’s safety policies and procedures; perform additional duties as assigned
• Pro Desk extension: support Pro customer relationships from arrival through order completion
• Engage Pro customers during loading and order fulfillment
• Support loading area and Pro canopy with responsive service
• Ensure orders are loaded accurately with safety standards
• Garden Center: assist loading and order completion and maintain safety
• Partner with Department Supervisor to stage orders for pickup
