Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain customer information records within the bank’s core system.
• Process account setup, updates, and maintenance for deposit accounts.
• Verify ownership, titling, coding, and documentation accuracy.
• Support savings, checking, CDs, and related account types.
• Research and resolve customer record discrepancies.
• Process return mail maintenance and customer information updates.
• Review deposit documents for completeness and compliance.
• Maintain records per bank procedures and support online openings.
• Prepare, scan, index, and maintain electronic documentation.
• Assist with decedent account processing and special maintenance requests.
• Prepare reports and operational documentation as needed.
• Ensure CIP requirements are met and fraud prevention is supported.
• Monitor regulatory standards and secure handling of information.
• Provide internal support and training as needed.
• Recommend process improvements to improve efficiency and service.

This role supports account setup, account maintenance, documentation review, customer information updates, compliance monitoring, and operational support related to deposit accounts. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, knowledge of deposit account documentation, and experience working within banking operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, scan, index, and maintain electronic account documentation

• Prepare reports and operational documentation as needed

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure customer records comply with CIP requirements and bank policies
• Support identity verification and fraud prevention activities
• Monitor documentation standards and regulatory requirements
• Maintain secure handling of customer information
• Complete required compliance and regulatory training
• Adhere to all risk management and operational control procedures

Customer Service & Internal Support

• Serve as a resource for branches and internal teams regarding deposit account maintenance
• Respond to questions related to account setup, documentation, and customer records
• Support cross-functional teams with account research and issue resolutionAssist with training initiatives and procedural updates
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery

Process Improvement & Administration

• Maintain and update account maintenance procedures and documentation
• Assist with forms management and process improvement initiatives

• Maintain current knowledge of banking regulations and operational practices
